Laura Rose Creative

Painter/Pole Dancer/Contemporary Performer

Welcome to my Tumblr, and welcome to my life.
For 2 years, I have been a student of contemporary theatre at York St. John University, and have decided to create a site where you can keep updated on my performative events within York and the performances of collegues, such as VIAPERFORMANCE. I am also a professional artist and am available to create commissions and art pieces for any business or personal use.

I would love to re-create this picture. I’d even wear the Napoleon costume.

Top 5 TV Programmes Game

Pick your five favourite tv shows (in no particular order) and answer the following questions about them. Dont cheat!

1. Whose Line is it Anyway?

2. Battlestar Galactica (2003 - 2009)

3. Red Dwarf

4. Black Books

5. Doctor Who

Who is your favourite character in 2?
Kara ‘Starbuck’ Thrace all the way!

Who is your least favourite character in 1?
Whenever Katy Greenwood is on.

Whats your favourite episode of 4?
“Party”

What is your favourite season on 5?
5 or 4 (David Tennant)

How long have you watched 1?
For quite a long time. SInce I was younger definately.

Who is your favourite actor in 4?
Either Dylan Moran or Bill Bailey. I can’t really decide between the two.

Which show do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5?
Battlestar Galactica (2)….it is immense!

Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?
Red Dwarf (3). I’ve seen every episode.

If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
Fran. She can keep them all in line and is the only one who can sway Bernard.

How would you kill off your favourite character in 1?
The way they nearly did in one episode where they were improvising with a flame thrower object, but didn’t know that’s what it was, then Drew told them, but Colin wanted to do it anyway, but Ryan refused.

Give a random quote from 1.
“I’m the only white meat!” - Colin Mochrie

Would a 3/4 crossover work?
I have no idea. They’re both british comedies but they’re in completely different environments. They could work lol.

Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple.
Colin Mochrie and Josie Lawrence. Hmmmm.

Has 5 inspired you in any way?
It’s inspired me to go out more lol.

Over all, which show has a better cast, 3 or 5?
Doctor Who’s cast is always changing, so for continuity purposes and comedy, I’ll go with 3 (Red Dwarf)

Which has better theme music, 2 or 4?

Sorry Black Books, but Battlestar Galactica kicks ass!

Permalink Feast For One.
This piece has appeared for one month in Bar Lane Studios during the 2010 York Open Studios in the summer and received an A grade for my own A Level Art examinations in 2009. This is one example of my own style of art. Also, I am half way through a 4 month commission of pieces inspired by the architecture of Gaudi in Barcelona. If you wish to organise a commission(s) of my work to display, just get in touch with me on here, or email me at: laurahowley@hotmail.co.uk.
